Pajama Jammy-jams

Earlier this summer, I was sorting through the girls' clothes. Thanks to my mom and my MIL, I could easily clothe triplets in every size through 4T for every season. BigM is very tall and skinny, so despite the fact that she is only 3 1/2, she has been wearing 4T clothes for the last 9 months (even before she actually turned 3 back in April.)

The only thing I was lacking to clothe them until next summer was winter pajamas for BigM. I was just positive that, like her 3T fall/winter clothes from last year, she would be too tall for last years' pjs and would have to sleep in my clothes. I remember as I was sorting saying a short prayer that God could provide her some pajamas and then He blessed me with the brilliant idea to ask my mom to get her pjs for Christmas rather than toys. Because she definitely has plenty of those.

Well, God definitely has a sense of humor.

Mom was more than thrilled to get BigM some pajamas for Christmas (and of course, she got LM coordinating/matching ones- despite the fact that LM did not need any pjs whatsover.) I am pretty sure I did not mention I had been worried to anyone else, just because I was pretty sure we could make do with a few pairs from last year and it doesn't really get that cold here. And I knew Mom was good for at least 4 pairs.

Between the two of them, BigM and LM received TWENTY-SIX sets of pajamas. I'm not even kidding. For real, I am NOT. MAKING. THIS. UP.

I am planning on forevermore refering to 2009 as "The Year of the Pajamas."
