Okay, I apologize but this is going to be one of those posts (much like my last post) where the mom is like, "Oh my goodness, isn't my kid the cutest kid that ever walked the face of planet Earth. She blinked and it was just adorable."
It's your choice if you keep reading. Don't say I didn't warn you.
LM's new favorite game is Peek-a-boo. She will hide behind her hands and throw them away from her face and say "Bee-boo." Yep, it's pretty adorable. She will just laugh and laugh until her face turns blue and she has trouble breathing. Then she does it again, over and over and over. It's a good time killer.
DM and I have decided to start this new thing where we feed the kids early on Mondays and put them to bed before we have a nice quiet *peace*ful dinner just the two of us. Tonight was the first night, so DM was sitting at the table with LM while they were eating. We have ladderback chairs and LM ducked her head down to peek under the top rung of her chair and said to DM, clear as day, "I seeee yooouuu."
It was pretty much the cutest thing I've ever heard in my whole entire life. LM speaks her own little language (as do most kids this age) and pretty much nothing she says sounds like what she means.
Want me to translate a few for you?
That long, skinny, yellow, crescent shaped piece of fruit is a "me-nah." Outerwear to keep you warm when you go outside is a "dahk-ut." Appreciation is "tahn-goo." I could go on forever, but for your sake, I won't. Although it's pretty cute when she sneezes and tells herself, "Bwess-oo."
Yes, LM is definitely the cutest child to ever grace this green earth. Well, maybe one of the cutest. Her big sis is pretty cute, too.
