V-I-C-T-O-R-Y!

LM is becoming quite the independent woman, and she love to do things for herself. It actually started about three months ago when I tried to put her paci in her mouth for her at bedtime and she grabbed it out of my hand and screeched, "I do ih." Gotcha, kiddo. And we have repeated this ritual every single night for the last 90 days.

Recently, she's started wanting to snap the top buckle of her carseat by herself (and interestingly enough, I cannot get BigM to get in her seat to snap the top buckle on her seatbelt to save my life.) LM will now cry if I get in a hurry or forget and do it myself. All we have to say is, "Let's get in the car" and she will run to the door yelling, "Sea-bell-buckle!"

Which is an actual shout out to Dora the Explorer. (You thought you were done hearing about her, didn't you? Wish it were so, believe me.) Whenever Dora and Boots climb into any mode of transportation, they always say, "Seat belts buckled- so we can be safe!" To top it all off, any time LM completes a task on her own, she now says, "Da-da-da-da-da-da- I dee it... Yay!" So yes, she sings herself the Dora Victory song to celebrate all her accomplishments. All of them.

I still can't decide whether that makes me want to laugh or put a permanent ban on all television programs.
