Surely I'm not the only parent out there that believes it would be easier to call the fire department to hose off my kids after every. single. meal than to wipe them down myself?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I usually plan our meals a week in advance, but I totally will make a substitution for supper if it has the slightest amount of sauce, moisture, crumbs, etc., depending on how lunch clean-up went. It seems like Talia makes more mess now than she did when she was first learning to feed herself. I also make her eat supper in just a diaper & bib, and put her right in the tub, on a way more frequent basis than I ever thought I would. I can't stand it. It's making me near foolish.
